Best Future from Today (BFT): the new partner of Music Road Rwanda

Best Future from Today has been the new partner of Music Road Rwanda since 2018. BFT includes the Independent Youth and Social Work of the Presbyterian Church in Kigali, to which all children, youth and adults in Kigali have access. BFT is an ideal partner for Music Road Rwanda, as the organization has a strong network of employees, premises and contacts with families and potential music students.
BFT offers Music Road Rwanda the opportunity to move forward with their existing Music Education offerings and to pursue the goals of Music Road Rwanda.

Violin Kids
Violin Kids is a new project that Music Road Rwanda launched in March 2018 in Kigali at the same time as Best Future from Today (BFT). The idea and the goal of Violin Kids was taken over by the project for immigrant children "Basel gyygt" from Basel / Switzerland, which was initiated by the Stadtmission Basel and Crescendo International. Violin Kids offers children from Kigali free violin lessons. In the form of a supervised weekly group lesson by a violin teacher, this lesson takes place in the premises of BFT and allows the children to take their first steps with the violin.
Violin Kids is supervised by Isa Halme (Team Music Road Rwanda).

Past Partnerships

In Rwanda, there was still no classical chamber music concert cultur in public. In cooperation with the Goethe-Institute in Kigali, we gave two public concerts, both of which were enthusiastically received. One performance took place in the Hotel Serena, the other in the Goethe-Institute’s own auditorium. We plan to continue our cooperation with the Goethe-Institute to give further performances.
